Cather-Cohen Art + Home is a Charleston-based home and textile brand transforming Danielle’s original fine art into high-end, customizable home goods. Every piece is designed, printed, and sewn in the South—combining fine art, craftsmanship, and Southern sensibility.

We work closely with interior designers, builders, developers, hospitality groups, retailers, and trade professionals, as well as wholesale partners and private clients. Our approach is deeply collaborative, offering both curated collections and fully bespoke design solutions for residential, commercial, and hospitality interiors.

Our product offerings include fine art, art prints on canvas, acrylic, and paper, luxury bedding and pillows in multiple fabrications and sizes, decorative pillows in signature or custom designs, wallcoverings for residential and commercial applications (including grasscloth, silk-effect, and metallic finishes), fabric by the yard in indoor, outdoor, and hospitality-grade options, tabletop textiles, and collectible art objects such as acrylic blocks.

We offer fully bespoke customization and design services, including tailored color modifications, exclusive pattern creation developed from original artwork, swatches, or mood boards, and a wide range of material options - from linen-cotton blends and velvets to metallic wall coverings and performance fabrics. All work is artist-led, deeply collaborative, and rooted in authentic craftsmanship, with every piece designed, printed, and sewn in the South.

Danielle Cather-Cohen

Charleston Impressionist | Colorist | Fine Artist

Danielle Cather-Cohen is a Charleston-based impressionist and colorist with over 30 years of experience creating fine art rooted in emotion, movement, and the expressive power of color. Mentored from a young age by renowned American painter Evelyn Leavens, Danielle developed a lifelong devotion to the interaction between color and spirit, an artistic philosophy that continues to define her work today.

Working primarily in oil, along with watercolor, gouache, pencil, and epoxy, her collections span abstract and contemporary compositions, figurative studies, landscapes, wildlife, and signature nautical and seascape works. Her paintings are collected worldwide and are known for their ability to evoke mood, depth, and a sense of place.

At the heart of every piece is Danielle’s guiding philosophy:

“I strive for the essence of beauty ,a dance with color.”

Seven years ago, Danielle expanded her fine art practice into a luxury wallcovering line, translating her original paintings into repeat patterns that brought her expressive use of color and movement onto a larger scale. This evolution marked the beginning of a natural transition from canvas to interiors, laying the foundation for a broader home and textile collection that allows her art to live beyond the gallery and into everyday spaces.

Annie Bailey

Creative Director

Annie Bailey is a Graphic Designer based in Charleston, South Carolina, with over 20 years of experience building thoughtful, strategic, and refined brands.

Annie became involved with Danielle’s work through the development of the textile and wallcovering collections, where her role quickly expanded beyond design support into creative direction. Today, she leads Danielle's Home division, overseeing brand identity, textile and pattern development, and custom interiors.

Their partnership is a true yin + yang dynamic - Danielle’s expressive, intuitive artistry paired with Annie’s structured, strategic design approach. Vibrant and bold meets curated and intentional. Together, they form a creative duo who believe art should live everywhere, on walls, beds, tables, and everyday spaces.
